Ask 100 different developers what the best WordPress development workflow is and you’ll get 100 different answers.
The truth is there is no single BEST WordPress development workflow. There are so many tools available and so many ways to use them that the combinations are endless. Finding what works best for you is ultimately a personal decision and a process that will evolve over time.
But if you’re completely new to development workflows, where do you even start?
Researching all the available tools and navigating the tidal wave of information on the web is overwhelming (should I use Grunt or Gulp? Is Sass better than Less?).
To tackle this topic and provide a conceptual overview of workflow management, I’m very excited to announce a 3-part webinar series on WordPress development workflow. Taught by Mika Epstein and hosted by me, we’ll walk through a development workflow from initial site creation to deployment, offering a birds-eye view of the process by seasoned developers.
If you’re a beginner to intermediate-level developer looking to level up your chops, you’ll come away from the webinars with a better understanding of how to develop locally, how to version control your code, and how to keep local and live sites synced. You’ll gain confidence with our recommended workflow development tools (DesktopServer, Gitflow, Grunt, etc.) and start managing your development projects like a BOSS.
